This 4 inch Fire Resistant Junction Box is the next generation Fire Resistant Electrical Outlet Box which specially designed for your lighting projects. It could be used as a Fire Resistant Recessed Housing, which means you can install either surface mount fixtures or most 4 inch recessed fixtures directly to this Fire Rated Electrical Box. It fits most of the standard 4” downlight retrofit kits on the market without any modifications. With this new design, your planing for the lighting projects will be more easier, it also helps you to save cost and time for your commercial projects.
The Fire Resistant Box comes with hanger bars, which was designed for both ceiling joists installations and drop ceiling (with T-bar Grid) installations. It can be completely covered by thermal insulation. There are 8 knockout on this Fire Resistant Outlet Box, very easy for the wiring. Also, this Fire Rated Box may direct contact with any combustible material like ceiling joist or floor board safely. This Fire Resistant Electrical Outlet Box is a Title 24 compliant, Air-Tight and ETL listed product. It also conforms to UL 514A metallic outlet box, fire rated up to 2 hours and UL1598 recessed luminaire housing rated IC.
